Who we are

The Dyslexic Collective was set up by two parents from dyslexic families: Kirsty and Lilian. Passionate about helping dyslexic learners, Kirsty and Lilian know through experience how difficult it can feel to get real practical help for your child, or yourself.  The Dyslexic Collective was formed to help make the diagnosis of Dyslexia an easy transition with clear information and practical advice.

The Dyslexic Collective is based in Peeblesshire. The area which is covered by us is the catchment of Peebles High School, and all the feeder Primary Schools in this area. We also offer help to children who live in this area but attend school outside this area.

We offer help by fundraising to buy equipment for use by the dyslexic students. We supply keyboards, headsets, stylus pens, specialist stationary, overlays, and more. We also fund clubs within school, and out of school. We work very closely with Peebles High School and all the feeder Primary schools.
